Changes to USC Board of Trustees

We want to share some heartfelt news about our board. Andrea Williams is stepping down, as her professional workload calls for more of her time and energy. We are deeply grateful for the wisdom, creativity, and heart she has brought to our board over the last year — and we're so glad her leadership continues right here at Unity, as she carries on facilitating our SOMA Breathwork practice.

Stepping in to serve out the remainder of Andrea's term is John Vandermey, a longtime and beloved member of our Unity family. John brings a wealth of experience to this role, having previously served as Board President, and he continues to give generously of his time as coordinator of our AVLM department and leader of our Drum Circle alongside his wife, Lesley Goddin. John has worn many hats here at Unity over the years, and we feel truly fortunate to draw on his experience, wisdom, and talents once again.

Please join us in thanking Andrea for her years of dedicated service, and in welcoming John back to the board!

We still have one open slot on the board! This position runs through January 31, 2027 — a great low-commitment way to try out board service without the full three-year term. Have you ever felt a nudge to serve as a Unity board member but weren't quite sure? This could be just the opportunity you've been waiting for!
